Panthers have signed CFL punter and former UAB specialist Swayze Waters
Swayze Waters, the former UAB specialist is now a Carolina Panther. The former UAB standout played in the CFL last year and although he was hurt he was able to land with the Panthers.
Waters, an Alabama-Birmingham product, kicked in the Canadian Football League the last four seasons. He was the CFL’s special teams player of the year in 2014 after averaging 47.7 yards per punt and hitting 47-of-52 field goals as well as all 40 of his PATs.
