Browns claim they have reached out to Johnny but he has not responded
Browns still have Johnny Manziel under contract, but the team still seems concerned about him as a person. According to their team owner Jimmy Haslam the Browns have reached out to him numerous times but he has not responded.
“Johnny has not responded to us, but we’ll do anything we can to help him personally and our thoughts and prayers are with Johnny and his family,” Haslam said. “We’re not worried about Johnny Manzielthe football player, we’re worried aboutJohnny Manzielthe person, and I think that’s all we need to say on the issue.”
“We’ve reached out several times since all this came out just last Saturday, just as we would any other player, and I think it’s enough said on the issue,” Haslam said. “I think it’s a personal issue now, it’s not a football issue.”
I really hope that Johnny Football can get help, but it is not looking good for him. The kid needs help and it sounds like the world is turning against him. I do not like to see this happen. I would love to speak to him and try to help him.
