Broncos have signed former first round pick Phil Taylor to a futures deal

The Denver Broncos signed defensive tackle Phil Taylor, according to the team website.

Taylor was selected 21st overall in the 2011 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, but was released by the club shortly before the start of the 2015 season. The veteran defensive tackle successfully tried out with the Broncos in December, and is now signed.

In 2014, Taylor recorded 10 tackles and a pass deflection in five games.
