Front Office Report: One coach pulled out of a race, Team hires GM

Today is a busy day in the NFL. Especially for Front Offices.  According to Adam Scheffer, several major moves are ongoing.  Here is what we have learned.

Titans hire a GM, which means their interim head coach could be sticking around….

Buccaneers director of player personnel Jon Robinson and Titans just agreed in principle to a general manager deal, per sources.

49ers are down to a two man race

49ers expected to choose between Chip Kelly and Mike Shanahan for their next HC, per league sources. Decision likely within next 24 hours.

Tom Coughlin does not want the Eagles job or the 49ers job…

Tom Coughlin is withdrawing his name from consideration for Eagles HC job, per sources. Not the right fit.

Browns are hoping to land Titans defensive coordinator for the same position in Cleveland, but they may have a GM sooner rather than later…

Browns HC Hue Jackson targeting Tennessee’s Ray Horton as his DC, but uncertain whether Titans will grant permission to leave, per source.
