Ravens sign two tight ends; Release CB Cassius Vaughn
The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve waived CB Cassius Vaughn and added two tight ends to their active roster.
The Ravens specifically promoted TE Konrad Reuland to their active roster and signed TE Richard Gordon to a contract.
The Ravens’ depth at tight end is extremely thin because Crockett Gillmore suffered a back injury Sunday, Nick Boyle received a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance enhancing drug policy and Maxx Williams missed Sunday’s game with a concussion. Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Gillmore and Williams both have a chance of playing Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
If they cannot go Richard Gordon and Konrad Reuland will have a shot to start.
