Murray State University
Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?
Volunteering at the boys and girls and spending time with children as often as I do.
What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?
Biology
Where are you from?
Radcliff, Kentucky
Who is your role model, and why?
My parents…they are hardworking and do what ever they possibly can to keep me and my siblings happy.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball, baseball, soccer, track
At your position, what separates you from others?
The work that I put in trying to perfect my craft is what I feel like separates me from others. I feel as if not many athletes out work me.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
Tendencies from defensive backs and defensive coordinators and any type of indicators to show what coverages I will see that week.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Xavier Rhodes my freshman year in college when we played against Florida State.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Steve Smith, because of the passion I have for this game and my desire to always get better
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
One of my biggest things I had to overcome was when my grandmother died. I just used it as motivation to become even better because I knew that would make her happy
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I just eat candy and snack drinking a lot of Gatorade listening to a lot of music
As a small school football player what obstacles do you feel you have to overcome?
Just that since I come from a small school I may get over looked a little
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is work ethic
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is I’m not as good as I want to be yet.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
That I’m a hardworking player that will give every ability I have to the team for the good of the team. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make the team, if that’s special teams or anything. Whatever you need I’m your guy.
