Rams worked out Hakeem Nicks and Wes Welker today as well
Just moments ago we announced that the St. Louis Rams would work out wide receiver Vincent Brown this week. Well according to Adam Caplan the Rams worked him out this morning along with two other veteran wide outs.
ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Rams worked out veteran receivers Hakeem Nicks, Wes Welker, and Vincent Brown on Monday.
This likely means the Rams worked out a quarterback as well, because they usually bring in someone to throw the receivers the ball. Unless they had either Chris Weinke or Jeff Garcia throw them some balls who are both on their staff.
Nicks played college football at North Carolina, and was drafted by the New York Giants in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Nicks has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.
Welker played college football at Texas Tech, and was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2004. Welker has also played for the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, and Denver Broncos.
