Jets worked out a couple wide outs this week
The New York Jets brought in receivers LaRon Byrd and Damarr Aultman for tryouts in recent days, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.
Byrd went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft, he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals in 2012. He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins. He played college football for the University of Miami.
Damarr Aultman finished his career at Maine ranked fifth all-time in receptions at Maine (162) and seventh all-time in receiving yards (2,061). In 2014, Aultman was honored to the All-CAA Second Team as a kick return specialist and to the All-Conference third team at wide receiver.
Aultman capped his time at Maine with 18 touchdowns in 45 games while his 28 kickoff returns in 2014 were tied for the all-time Maine lead for returns in a season. Aultman also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns while a member of the Black Bears.
