Browns worked out several tight ends this week; None were signed
The Cleveland Browns have been getting amazing play from Gary Barnridge their tight end over the past two weeks, but that did not stop them from working out tight ends for their emergency list. According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post the Browns tried out tight ends Cameron Clear, Konrad Reuland, Brian Leonhardt and Connor Hamlett on Friday.
The most notable player was likely Brian Leonhardt, 25, wound up signing on with the Oakland Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Bemidji State back in 2013. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason that year, but later signed on to the team’s practice squad.
