Saints QB Drew Brees will test out his shoulder today; If it feels good he could start
Drew Brees of the Saints missed last week’s game for the Saints and Luke McCown almost pulled off the win against the Carolina Panthers. Well this week Brees is going to try to get back and play against the Dallas Cowboys. According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, Brees is expected to test out his throwing arm today.
Brees has consistently said his bruised rotator cuff presents a “strength and functionality” and not a pain issue. If the strength has returned to the shoulder on Tuesday, he should be on track to play against the Cowboys.
