Raiders feel they could lose starting safety Nate Allen to a torn ACL
The Oakland Raiders walked away very banged up yesterday after playing the Bengals. Derek Carr left the game with an injured hand, but the bigger loss could have occurred in the secondary.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Oakland Raiders fear S Nate Allen tore his ACL Week 1. Allen is getting more tests today, but he is likely done for the season. With Charles Woodson (shoulder) also banged up, the Raiders are very thin at safety.
Allen was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at South Florida. Raiders SS Charles Woodson suffered a shoulder injury Week 1. Woodson will undergo an MRI on Monday.
