Patriots have released Khyri Thornton; Sign WR to their practice squad

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Patriots have placed DT Khyri Thornton on waivers Thursday.
Thornton was claimed via the waiver wire, but just did not pan out. He will hit the waiver wire tomorrow.

The Patriots also signed WR Chris Harper to their practice squad.
