NFL Draft Diamonds Week 1 Cubic Zirconia Awards
New York Giants coaching staff – You have 1:30 seconds left in the game and the ball at the 2 yard line. Rashad Jennings is averaging 4 yards a carry, and the Dallas Cowboys have zero timeouts. You throw the ball…… Come On Man, that is bad coaching. The Cowboys march down the field and win the game to beat the Giants by one.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers “Cover 2” defense – How do you let a rookie shred you for 42 points? Lovie Smith should be ashamed of his defense and himself. Lovie took over calling the defensive side of the ball, and he looked bad at doing it. This was a poor performance by the Bucs.
Phillip Dorsett – The Colts rookie had a bad first career game. Dorsett muffed two punts, which one was recovered by the Bills to solidify the win. Dorsett also dropped a huge 3rd down pass. The former UM rookie did not look good in his first performance.
A.J. Green – The Bengals just paid you a ton of money, and you drop a wide out touchdown? Green has had the drops all pre-season and it continued into the regular season. Every Fantasy football player wanted that touchdown, C’Mon Man.
Washington Redskins punt coverage team – Have you ever heard of angling a punt? Punt it out of bounds, instead Jarvis Landry burns the Redskins special teams to win the game for the Dolphins.
