Jaguars have released safety Matt Daniels

The Jacksonville Jaguars waived third-year safety Matt Daniels with an injury designation on Tuesday afternoon.

The Jaguars announced the move shortly after the team’s last practice of the preseason.

He was signed by the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football for Duke University.
