Browns will be without starting linebacker Scott Solomon for a few weeks

Cleveland Browns will be without their starting linebacker for the first couple weeks. Solomon ended up in the locker room on a cart after a handful of plays in the first quarter as a result of an ankle injury. It looks like it will be several weeks before he’s ready to resume a role on the Cleveland defense.
Pat McManamon of ESPN.com reports that Solomon is expected to miss 4-6 weeks as a result of the injury. The length of recovery is in line with a high ankle sprain, although the report doesn’t specify the exact nature of what’s wrong with Solomon.
The Browns may look to add an outside linebacker via free agency.
