Jets have interest in veteran free agent Evan Mathis
New York Jets have shown interest in former Philadelphia Eagles veteran guard Evan Mathis according to GM Mike Maccagnan. Maccagnan seemed to indicated that Mathis’ asking price is currently too high for their liking.
Manish Mehta mentions that if Mathis were to come down in terms of his desired salary, the Jets “will be in the mix.”
Mathis, 33, is by far the best available free agent offensive lineman and should have a decent market for his services.
