The Buffalo Bills have signed former seventh-round draft choice of the Cincinnati Bengals Lavelle Westbrooks.
He was injured in Bengals training camp last summer, waived-injured and ultimately reached an injury settlement with the club.
At 6-0, 185 pounds, Westbrooks is young at the cornerback position having played there in only his final two years of college at Georgia Southern. He played his first two collegiate seasons at safety. Westbrooks had seven interceptions and 20 passes defensed in a 49-game college career that saw him make 41 starts.
In a corresponding move the team released Caleb Holley with an injury settlement.
