Special Olympics Ambassador Joe Haden says STOP using the “R” Word
Joe Haden the All-Pro cornerback of the Cleveland Browns is the Special Olympics Ambassador and he is tired of people degrading and disrespecting kids with special needs.
“Open up your vocabulary, people,” Haden told ESPN.com’s Steve Wulf. “The R-word is hurtful, hateful and ignorant. Like the N-word, it should not be part of our language.”
Haden is a great person, and I commend him on this. This is what a leader is supposed to do. Great job Mr. Haden!!
