Redskins release veteran cornerback Tracy Porter; Move saves 2.3 million

The Washington Redskins are making moves today, they are releasing veterans, which is a good time to do it, because they can catch on with another team. They saved 4 million dollars by releasing offensive guard Chris Chester, and they also saved 2.3 million by releasing Porter.
The team saved 6.3 million dollars with two roster moves, which means they could be in the market soon for more players. Porter signed a 2 year deal last year for 6 million.

Redskins also releasing Tracy Porter. Another non-surprising move.
