The Oakland Raiders have signed small school running back Gus Johnson. Johnson reminds us of a little Marshawn Lynch, who runs with power and agility.
Johnson (5’10/215) was the 2014 Southland Conference Player of the Year, finishing his career with 3,907 yards and 51 TDs on 631 carries (6.19 YPC), adding 57 receptions.
Although Johnson ran 4.7-flat in Indianapolis, he posted solid vertical (36 1/2″) and broad (10′) jump numbers, and improved his forty to the mid-4.5s at Stephen F. Austin’s Pro Day.
