Oakland Raiders have released veteran WR James Jones
Today the Oakland Raiders released veteran wide out James Jones. The San Jose native received a phone call from general manager Reggie McKenzie on Sunday evening informing him of the news.
Jones had two years left on his contract, but his release does not include any dead money. The team will save $3.433 million against this year’s salary cap.
