New Orleans Saints brought a bunch veterans to their rookie mini camp

Former Buccaneers second-round defensive end Da’Quan Bowers, former Bengals third-round tight end Chase Coffman, wide receiver Josh Morgan and offensive linemen Paul McQuistan and Uche Nwaneri were among 40 tryout players who arrived in New Orleans for the Saints rookie mini camp.
This is not a new thing for a team to bring in a few veterans, but 5? The Saints are smart, they had an extra week to plan and it sounds like they may have outsmarted everyone by bringing in vets. While none of the veterans listed above have been good in the NFL, at least the Saints are kicking the tires.
