Cardinals RB Andre Ellington was happy the team drafted UNI RB David Johnson
Andre Ellington the former Clemson Tiger runner was not worried when the Cardinals selected former FCS power back David Johnson. A matter of fact, Ellington was happy about the pick.
“I don’t see why not,” Ellington said when asked if he would be helped by the addition of Johnson, via the Arizona Republic. “It allows me to have more rest time, and it should keep the offense upbeat.”
David Johnson is a bigger back at 6’1 and 225 pounds. He can catch out the backfield and can really thump with the best of them. He can easily be a three down back if Ellington does in fact go down.
