Todd Gurley is expected to be ready to play by week 1

Despite undergoing an ACL surgery in November, Todd Gurley the former Georgia Bulldog is expected to be ready for week 1 of the 2015 NFL season.
Gurley, who is projected now as a top ten pick tore his ACL during a November win over Auburn. He had rushed for 911 yards and nine touchdowns on just 123 carries prior to the injury and was a potential Heisman Trophy candidate.
Gurley refused to allow teams to examine his knee at the combine, but recently was in Indianapolis for a medical re-check, in which he passed with flying colors. His knee reportedly checked out cleanly, and now NFL Media’s Albert Breer says teams have told him he has a “great shot” to be ready to play in Week 1.
If he can in fact be ready for week 1, I would expect a team like the Jets to consider him as their pick with the sixth selection.
