Ravens greatest player of all time tells Baltimore Rioters to “GO HOME”
Ray Lewis might be the greatest linebacker ever to play the game, and he is definitely considered the greatest Baltimore Raven of all time. Well today, Lewis commented on the Baltimore Rioters, telling the people to “GO HOME”.
Lewis said, “These young kids got to get off the street, violence is not the answer.”
He pointed out that nothing good is done for Freddie Gray by destroying the community, and notes that the problems are much more deeply rooted than just what happened to Gray.
“Baltimore, get off the streets! Kids, go home and stay home. You have no right to do what you are doing to this city. Too many hard working people built this city.”
“Rioting in our streets is wrong, it’s dead wrong,” said Lewis, while noting that he understands the deep issues and tensions troubling the community.
