NFL Draft Diamonds Updated 2015 Small School Mock Draft

small school mockTampa Bay (2-14) – Jaquiski Tartt – SS – Samford–Tartt is a very solid football player. He has great hands and is able to make players using technique.  Tartt has good hips and takes great angles to make tackles.

Tennessee (2-14) -David Johnson – RB – Northern Iowa- David Johnson is a power back that can do it all out the backfield. He has good hands and is the best all around back maybe in the draft.

Jacksonville (3-13) – Ali Marpet – OT – Hobart -This kid is just pure brute force. He proved he can hang with the big boys at the Senior Bowl.

Oakland (3-13) – Tre McBride – WR – William & Mary- Tre McBride is a very solid football player who impressed NFL scouts at the East/West Shrine Game and the NFL Combine.

Washington (4-12) – Lynden Trail – DE/OLB – Norfolk State – Lynden Trail is a superb athlete that transferred from the University of Florida.  I think he can have a successful career in the NFL.

N.Y. Jets (4-12) – Mycole Pruitt – TE – Southern Illinois– Pruitt’s size might be a concern to some, but at 6’2 he is able to get the job done.  Pruitt has soft hands, runs very good routes and is super fast.

Chicago (5-11) – Xavier Williams – Northern Iowa -The massive defensive tackle was very productive for UNI and I feel he can be a huge asset to any NFL team that needs the defensive tackle position.

Atlanta (6-10) – Davis Tull – LB – Tennessee Chattanooga -Tull has a high motor and is impressive getting around an edge. Tull put up ridiculous numbers at his Pro Day, and has NFL teams drooling over his services.

N.Y. Giants (6-10) – Dezmin Lewis – WR – Central Arkansas -Dezmin Lewis had a great season, and his height is amazing.  He has great size and speed.  His acrobatic receptions are better than Odell Beckham Jr.’s so this could be an interesting fit.

St. Louis (6-10) –  Robert Myers – G – Tennessee State –Myers was on a nasty offensive line last year that had two draft picks.  This year he was TSU’s best offensive player.  He is a great player and is one of the best small school lineman in this draft.

Minnesota (7-9) – Derrick Lott – DT – Tennessee – Chattanooga – Lott is a big man, that is hard to move. He also has a never ending motor, and NFL scouts love his potential. He is a massive man with a very good motor.

Cleveland (7-9) – Zach Hodges – DE – Harvard-Hodges is the best small school pass rusher in the 2015 NFL Draft and could be a guy that is the first small schooler selected.

New Orleans (7-9) – Bryan Bennett – QB – Southeastern Louisiana – Bennett is growing on NFL teams, and he showed off his athletic ability at the Combine and his Pro Day. NFL teams see the former Oregon quarterback is a solid back-up to eventual starter.

Miami (8-8) – John Crockett – RB – North Dakota State University -Crockett trained in Miami and has made a name for himself over the past several months from the East/West Shrine Game to the Combine.

San Francisco (8-8) – Nick Boyle – TE – Delaware -The big Blue Hen has great hands and is able to make things happen on the field. He will move up the ranks thanks to the Senior Bowl.

Houston (9-7) –Deon Simon – DT – Northwestern State – NFL Scouts love this kid, he is a huge space eater, The Nose Tackle from NSU is tough and will be an impact player in the NFL.

Kansas City (9-7) – Kenny Cook – WR – Gardner Webb – The 6’4 wide out has great hands and an awesome story.  The former Cancer survivor has an 81 inch wingspan.

San Diego (9-7) –  Ryan Delaire – DE – Towson- Ryan is a freak athlete who transferred from UMass.  He will tear up the Combine and I expect his name to fly up draft boards.

Cleveland (from Buffalo 9-7) – Tevin McDonald – S – Eastern Washington -T.J.’s brother is finally in the NFL.  He will make tons of plays and remember his bloodlines are fierce. Both father and brother were in the NFL. Former UCLA standout as well.

Philadelphia (10-6) – R.J. Harris – WR – New Hampshire -R.J. is not he fastest wide receiver in the NCAA, but he might run the best route of any receiver in the draft.  He has great hands and explodes when he needs too.

Cincinnati (10-5-1) – De’Ante “POP” Saunders – DB – Tennessee State- The former Florida Gator has a new home and he is still just as explosive as he was when he was back in Gainesville.

Pittsburgh (11-5) – Dean Marlowe – S – James Madison –Dean Marloweis a hard hitting safety that has the hands of a wide receiver. Marlowe is a big safety that lowers the boom stick on his opponents.

Detroit (11-5) – Tyler Varga – RB – Yale -The Canadian back will be ready during the Senior Bowl.  He had a great week and the Cardinals could use a fresh back.

Arizona (11-5) – Malcolm Agnew – RB – Southern Illinois –Agnew has good bloodlines. His father and brother both made it to the NFL, so he has amazing bloodlines.

Carolina  (8-9-1) – Kyle Emmanuel – DE – North Dakota State University- Emmanuel is a very solid edge rusher who has looked good at the East/West Shrine Game.  Emmanuel finished the year with 16.5 sacks, he will rack up more in the NFL.

Baltimore  (11-7) – Chad Hamilton – OC/OG – Coastal Carolina – Hamilton is a versatile player that can play multiple positions on the offensive line.

Dallas  (13-5) – Imoan Claiborne – CB – Northwestern State -The Alexandria, Louisiana native has been pretty solid and he moved up quite a few NFL draft scouts boards.  He is a good player with great instincts.

Denver  (12-5) – Jacob Hagen – SS – Liberty -Jacob Hagen is a ball hawk that will get a time to shine.  I love his attitude and feel he can make a big impact in the NFL.

Green Bay (13-5) – Donatella Luckett – WR – Harding -Luckett might be the fastest man in the 2015 NFL draft. His stock is skyrocketing after his pro day forty yard dash.

Indianapolis Colts (13-6) – Tom Obarski – K – Concorida St. Paul -Adam Vinatieri is getting older every day and he needs a replacement. The Colts find a strong leg in Obarski.

Seahawks (14-5) – (Traded to New Orleans) – Zach Wagenmann – DE – Montana – Wagenmann has been growing on me. He is a big kid with a great motor.

New England Patriots (15-4) -Kyle Loomis – P – Portland State -While it might be crazy to see a punter on this list, Loomis has a booming leg, and should get drafted.
