Lions trade DE George Johnson to the Buccaneers

Two days after the Detroit Lions contested the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offer sheet for restricted free agent George Johnson, the two sides agreed to a trade, according to Rick Stroud.

The trade has not yet been approved by the NFL but there is an agreement between the Bucs and Lions to swap late round picks.
The teams will swap late-round picks in the deal for the defensive end.
