La’El Collins will not talk to Police until after the NFL Draft
La’El Collins will likely not be drafted this week, and this is why. According to Albert Breer, the Police will not talk to La’El Collins until after the NFL Draft. Collins was expected to be a top 20 pick and now teams are expected to remove him from their draft boards. Per Baton Rouge PD Cpl. Don Coppola, a police interview with LSU OT La’El Collins has been set up for after the draft. No date/time yet.
Lack of closure on this is certainly hurting Collins now. Talked to several teams who won’t touch him tonight as a result of it.
The officer just clarified — the police and Collins have resolved to schedule the interview after draft, which is why there’s no date/time.
