If the Buccaneers pass on Jameis Winston he will likely be a Titan
If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass on Florida State Seminoles QB Jameis Winston with the first overall pick in the NFL draft, expect the Titans to take him. According to Paul Kuharsky of ESPN, the former Heisman will be in play for the Tennessee Titans at No. 2.
The Titans have done their homework on Winston and the team feel he “checks out,” according to the source. The pending civil lawsuit against him connected to a sexual assault accusation for which he was never charged would not dictate the team’s decision regarding Winston.
If Winston is gone, maybe the Titans will trade for Rivers?
