Ex Broncos WR Wes Welker has been cleared by the Nation’s best concussion doctor
Former Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker wants to return to the NFL, but his past concussions have made the teams scared. Well Welker wants to clear his slate.
Today a report from NBC Denver came out that, Welker was cleared to continue his NFL career by one of the country’s leading concussion experts, Dr. Stanley Herring of Seattle. Welker visited Herring about a month after playing his final game for the Broncos on Jan. 11, a 24-13 playoff loss to Indianapolis in which the slot receiver had one, 20-yard reception and handled punt returns.
Would you want Welker? He could be a cheap veteran option…
