Eagles WR Jordan Matthews does not want to be a number 1 receiver
The Philadelphia Eagles no longer have a number one receiver, and now the team’s best young receiver sounds scared to be the man.
“People ask me about being the No. 1 wide receiver; Forget it,” Jordan Matthews told The Philadelphia Inquirer. “I want us to be a receiving corps. That’s what I want it to be.”
In his rookie year, he caught 67 passes for 872 yards and eight touchdowns. He played in all 16 games. The problem is it sounds like the Eagles better get some more weapons soon.
