Chargers new stadium could shoot lightning when they score a TD
The San Diego Chargers new stadium in Carson, Calif., could have a 120 foot tower that shoots lightning when the team scores, according to The Los Angeles Times.
The new stadium design has a 120-foot tall tower that would shoot “simulated lightening bolts,” for instance, when the Chargers score a touchdown, according to the report. If the stadium were to host a Super Bowl, it would turn into a giant emblem of the Lombardi Trophy.
