#Vikings RB Adrian Peterson will meet with @NFL this week to discuss reinstatement, source said. He’s eligible to be considered on April 15.
Peterson missed 15 games last year after being indicted on assault charges for hitting his 4-year-old son with a switch.
Peterson, 30, remains under contract for the next three seasons. He is scheduled to make $12.75 million in 2015, plus a $250,000 workout bonus, but counts $15.4 million against the Vikings’ salary cap for next season. While the Vikings would love to have him back, the marriage is definitely on the rocks.
