Vikings would like to keep Chad Greenway; but is 7 million too much?
Chad Greenway has been a very solid football player since entering the NFL as a first round pick in 2006. The big question is will the Vikings pay him the 7 million he is due?
He could be a guy the Vikings ask to take a pay cut?
Vikings G.M. Rick Spielman told the Star Tribune that there’s no doubt on the team’s side that Greenway is still a valuable part of the franchise, but did not talk about the price tag.
“We have a lot of things that we’ll be working through between now and before March 10 [when free agents can be signed], but we’d love to have Chad Greenway back and finish [his career] as a Minnesota Viking,” Spielman said.
What do you think? Will the Vikings keep him at 7 million?
