Titans safety Bernard Pollard is upset after team cuts him
The Titans have informed Bernard Pollard the hard-hitting safety they plan to release him from his contract.
The frustrated veteran made the request following a 2014 season when he wound up on injured reserve and the team finished 2-14.
The decision doesn’t mean Pollard was happy, according to the Tennessean, Pollard very upset.
“I am a little ticked off to be honest, because we didn’t do as well as anyone wanted,” he said. “I wish we could have won more games and made the playoffs. When I came here, I wanted to be a part of a turnaround, so it is a letdown. But I don’t have that much time left, and for the time I do have left, I want to go out with a bang.”
