Shane Vereen to the New York Giants has legs; Giants are “very serious” about his services
The New York Giants have been quiet since the start of the legal tampering period, but it sounds like the one guy they really want is Shane Vereen. Vereen is a very solid scat back that can open up the passing game for Eli and G-Men. Well according to Adam Schefter and others from ESPN, the Giants are very serious about signing Vereen. Vereen laughed off his asking price of 5 million a year, and it was reported later on that he was only looking for 4 a year, which is close to what Mark Ingram received to stay in New Orleans.
