Rams are making Nick Fairley stay in shape to earn his bonuses
Nick Fairley has 500,000 reasons to show up to St. Louis Rams camp in shape. Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead think their new defensive tackle addition needs to hit the gym hard.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the workout bonus is worth 500,000 dollars. Jim Thomas reports it the biggest bonus for weight in team history.
Last September, Fairley was benched after ballooning to 320 pounds, which led to his hiring of a personal chef. Right now Fairley is at 280 pounds according to the St. Louis Dispatch, but if Fairley can stay in shape, he will receive a nice check. For a half of million dollars, I would look like Fabio.
