Patriots restructure linebacker Rob Ninkovich’s contract
According to ESPN’s Adam Caplan, the New England Patriots and DE Rob Ninkovich have agreed to a restructured contract on Wednesday.
Ninkovich, 31, signed a four-year, $15.04 million contract that included a $5 million signing bonus with the Patriots before the start of the 2013 season.
He still had another two years remaining on the agreement, which includes base salaries of $2.1 million and $1.5 million for the 2015 and 2016 season.
