Panthers claim OT Jonathan Martin; Sign WR Jarrett Boykin
The Carolina Panthers, may have missed out on veteran cornerback Alan Ball but they did land two other veterans.
The team claimed former bully victim Jonathan Martin who was recently released by the Niners, as well as signing a wide receiver.
The team signed free agent target Jarrett Boykin to a one-year contract Friday.
“It means a lot being from the area and having the opportunity to come back and get a chance to play for the Panthers,” Boykin told the team’s official website after starring at Butler High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. “But at the end of the day, it still boils down to how I go about my business on the field. I have to prove myself all over again.”
