Lions re-sign DE Darryl Tapp to a one year deal
Defensive end Darryl Tapp signed a one-year, $950,000 deal to stay with the Lions according to the Detroit Free Press.
Tapp’s contract includes an $80,000 signing bonus and, as a minimum salary benefit deal, it carries just a $665,000 salary cap charge.
This is a great move by the Lions. Tapp, who turns 31 this fall, had 17 tackles in 16 games as a reserve for the Lions last year.
