LeSean McCoy will make the Bills a contender
The Buffalo Bills have a great defense and with Rex Ryan at the helm it could get better, but the question mark was at the quarterback position.
The Bills went out and hired Greg Roman who is known as one of the best running offensive coordinators in the league. He led Frank Gore to several 1000 yard seasons. This led to one thing, people assuming the Bills would run a lot.
Well Doug Whaley has been saying the Bills will run the ball and run it a lot. Today they made a move that makes sense.
The Bills traded their starting linebacker (Kiko Alonso) for LeSean McCoy. McCoy has rushed for more yards over the last five years than any running back in the league.
Shady can catch out the backfield and hit a hole hard, something the Bills did not have.
All Rex is missing is a middle linebacker and David Harris is available. Harris ran Rex’s defense in New York and guess who is a free agent? That could be Kiko’s replacement? If it is the Bills could be contenders.
