Jets want Darrelle Revis back in New York
Darrelle Revis made his name in a New York Jets uniform. After being drafted by the team out of the University if Pittsburgh, Revis went on to become a lock down corner.
Revis is due a $12 million roster bonus next week from the Patriots and is scheduled to make $7.5 million in base salary next season, as part of the team option in his contract if he is on the team’s roster on April 1. Revis carries a $25 million salary cap hit for 2015.
New York Jets owner Woody Johnson has been involved in discussions with new general manager Mike Maccagnan to see if they can “make a push” for current New England Patriots and former Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis should he hit the free agent market next week, reports the New York Daily News.
