Former WVU QB Pat White retires from CFL at 29
Former West Virgina QB Pat White hung up his cleats today. The Edmonton Eskimos announced that the 29-year-old has retired.
Known most for his running ability, the West Virginia alum joined the Eskimos in 2014 and rushed for four touchdowns and 159 yards on 35 rushing attempts. He also threw a touchdown pass in limited action as a passer, throwing for 54 yards on 5-of-9 passing.
“Pat was a true professional during his time in Edmonton, on and off the field,” said Eskimos General Manager Ed Hervey. “We wish him much success in the future.”
