Former Saints DB Darren Sharper pleads guilty to rape; Agrees to 20 year prison term
Former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper will receive a 20-year prison sentence for drugging and raping a series of women in New Orleans, part of a global deal that was playing out with guilty pleas by Sharper in various states on Monday, according to the New Orleans Advocate.
He will only serve 9 years of that term behind bars, in accordance with the multi-state deal.
