UMass/Monmouth University
How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?
Around 10, (Miami, Rutgers, Purdue, UMass, Delaware, Akron, UPenn, Villanova, Temple ect.)
How did you choose your school?
Education was key, the success of the program, and the coaching staff
Where are you from?
Audubon, New Jersey
Who is your role model, and why?
My father is my role model. He demonstrated the essence of hard work on daily basis without every complaining.
Have any scouts met with you yet, and if so what are they saying?
Nope
Did you play any other sports growing up?
Basketball and Baseball
Did you play any other positions in football?
Nope
At your position, what separates you from others?
My determination. My understanding of defenses. My passion for the art of playing quarterback.
When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?
I watch a lot of things, safety alignments, what fronts are they showing, can their blitz be identified. Down and distances. I watch everything that the defense does and what the defense does in certain situation.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
Corner from Liberty
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
Joe Flacco, because I watched him play growing up and try to mimic everything he did on the field.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
My aunt passing away from breast cancer is the hardest thing I have ever had to overcome. We were extremely close and also it stuck her within a month time frame. She told me to just keep working hard and to make sure I get my degree from college.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
No not really, tend to be very calm before games.
What is your biggest strength?
My understanding of the game, and breaking down defenses.
What is your biggest weakness?
Running in open field.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
Not only will I be an asset to your team, but also by allowing me a chance to play is the best decision they have ever made.
Who was your favorite player and NFL team growing up?
Brett Favre and the Philadelphia Eagles
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
Kobe Bryant, Abraham Lincoln, Payton Manning
