We have heard the word “hometown discount” before and according to Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, DeMarco Murray would be willing to give the Cowboys a hometown discount to remain with the team.

Murray, I’m told, understands the benefit of being a #Cowboys lifer. Especially if they can bring a Super Bowl championship home.
Getlin called it a meaningful discount, which is a smart move by the Murray camp, because behind that offensive line, Murray could erupt as one of the best running backs in the NFL.
