Darnell Dockett chooses the San Francisco 49ers; Agrees to 2 year deal
Veteran defensive tackle Darnell Dockett has signed a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Congrats to the newest Niner!
Dockett, who was drafted by the Cardinals in 2004 and spent 11 years there, was cut last week when the two sides couldn’t agree on the value of a veteran defensive lineman recovering from ACL repair. This is a great signing by the San Francisco 49ers. The 34 year old will be ready to play his former team twice a year.
