Could the New Orleans Saints trade up to draft Amari Cooper?
Drew Brees has lost his targets, and other key players. Both Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills are gone, and the New Orleans Saints are in trouble when it comes to cap.
So could they make a trade to move up and snag a playmaker like Amari Cooper? Daniel Jeremiah the former NFL Scout thinks it is a possibility.
“Jimmy Graham is gone. Kenny Stills is gone,” Jeremiah said on NFL Network’s “Path to the Draft” Friday. “Brandin Cooks, let’s give him a running mate. Kevin White would look good with the Saints. But maybe the Saints, who are in the South division and are thinking Southeastern Conference, go all the way up to No. 4 and grab Amari Cooper. Let’s have a happy Drew Brees.”
