Buffalo Bills have contract offer ready for Charles Clay?
Charles Clay was a guy that the Buffalo Bills have wanted for sometime, and now if their contract offer is good enough and the Dolphins do not match, they will lose their tight end. According to the Associated Press, the Bills have a contract offer ready for Clay, even though they cannot talk to him until after 4 pm.
A person familiar with discussions has told The Associated Press that the Buffalo Bills have prepared a contract offer to present to Miami Dolphins tight end Charles Clay.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills have not revealed their plans.
Clay will become an unrestricted free agent Tuesday, though the Dolphins have the right to match any offers after awarding the player a transition tag last week. The move ensured that Clay will make at least $7 million this season.
