49ers have zero interest in Ray McDonald returning
Ray McDonald is a free agent after being arrested for domestic violence. McDonald has been linked to returning to the 49ers, but according to Jim Trotter, that will not happen. The 49ers have moved on from McDonald, and the Niners defense is going to be different.

There has been speculation that Ray McDonald might return to SF. I’m told there is no chance of it happening. Team has moved on.
McDonald played college football for the University of Florida, where he was a member of a BCS National Championship team. Thereafter, he was selected by the 49ers in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
